PETER POKORNY

Peter Pokorny brings over a decade of commercial real estate experience to Serafin Real Estate, with a strong focus on office and retail leasing. He specializes in both tenant representation and landlord representation, advising clients through every stage of leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions. Peter’s geographic concentration includes Alexandria, Arlington, Eastern Fairfax County, and Eastern Prince William County—markets where he is deeply embedded and well-connected.

Before joining SRE, Peter was a commercial real estate agent with Long & Foster’s Commercial Division, an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway. He also brings a legal background to the table, having practiced as a commercial real estate attorney with Real Estate Counselors, a boutique law firm in the DC region. This dual perspective—as both broker and attorney—gives him a unique edge in deal structuring, negotiation, and risk mitigation.

Peter has been an active member of the Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Marketing Association since 2014 and is serving as its 2025 President. Prior to entering the real estate industry, he served as Assistant General Counsel for the Council of Better Business Bureaus, the umbrella organization for BBBs in the U.S. and Canada.
